My name is Mrs. Rossi and I am pleased to inform you that I have just completed my 21st year here in the Manhattan School District. I graduated from Illinois Valley Community College with an A.A. degree. I then continued my education at Illinois State University. From there I student-taught at Down's Tri-Valley and then Pekin and Washington Schools in the Peoria area.
I began at MJHS as a health teacher and then traveled to Anna McDonald, where I taught K-5th grade physical education each day. As our Manhattan Dist. #114 grew, I was needed at Anna McDonald full time. When we built our Wilson Creek School, I was split between the two buildings and we added another physical education teacher to our staff. The following year, it was decided that we needed two full-time physical education teachers for our Anna McDonald and Wilson Creek Schools, and I chose to come back to where I first started...Anna McDonald! I have a beautiful family, which is made up of my husband, my son who is 12 years old and our daughter who is three. In our "free" time, you can find us running to Therapeutic Horseback Riding, OT, Speech and PT. We also enjoy spending time with our families, which stretch from Florida to the LaSalle/Peru area, in Illinois. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please do not hesitate to contact me. [email protected] 815/478-3310 ext. 3118 |
